Meet Your Instructors


Dr. Angie Brown, PT, DPT


Angie is a physical therapist, with a doctorate degree from the University of Miami and a bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame.


She has a passion for health, wellness, food, and fitness.  She has been practicing physical therapy for 15 years, and during that time, she has worked with clients ranging from 7 to 103 years old. She has seen first-hand the difference between people who take care of themselves and those who do not, so she wanted to help to educate more people on the importance of healthy lifestyle changes, in order to live an active, more vibrant life now and as we get older.


She is also a certified nutrition coach and life coach because she believes in a holistic approach to improving our health, one that incorporates mind, body, and skills for true and lasting success.

Kevin Brown


Kevin is a cross country and track coach and high school teacher, who ran Division I CC and track at the University of Notre Dame. He has coached teams and individuals to the state championship almost every year, and several of his former runners have received scholarships to run in college and compete professionally. He believes in quality over quantity, allowing adequate periods of rest, and pushing hard on workout days to achieve amazing results.


Kevin is an elite local runner, with first place finishes in countless 5ks, top 3 finishes in multiple full and half marathons, and an overall first place finish in the Fort Lauderdale A1A full marathon in 2017. His recent (adult) personal best times include 2:38 for the marathon, 1:11 for the half marathon, and 15:38 for the 5k. And those are all since having kids, a full-time job, and an active family life.
