Payments, Fees, and Refund Policy 

When you sign up for any of our programs, you authorize AKB Health, Inc. (DBA Real Life Runners) to charge your designated payment method for the membership fees.

Prices for our coaching fees as published on our website may fluctuate as a result of current market rates, competitive positioning, and a host of other factors that impact our pricing.  We do not raise or lower rates for members who are currently enrolled in our membership programs. Therefore, if the price of our service increases, you will be billed at your original billed rate. However, should you leave our coaching program and reenter at a later time, the new rate will be in effect.   If prices go down, and you are paying a higher rate,  please contact us for the best way to adjust your price down. Due to limitations with our credit card processor, we can't make these changes without you initializing it with us. 

We want you to be 100% satisfied with the service you receive.  If you are cancelling a service or requesting a refund for a product/service and it is because you are unhappy with the product or service, please contact us directly so we can fix any issue, especially as we may not be aware of the issue. We would love the opportunity to fix anything and we will work hard to make you completely satisfied within reasonable limitations.

However, should you want a refund, please note the following refund policy.  Our refund policy is subject to change and will be valid/enforced based on the current refund policy at the date the refund was requested.

 

Refund Policy Specific To Subscription Based Products

 

Month-to-Month Memberships:

Memberships created will not automatically cancel. All memberships will auto-renew until cancelled. If you would like to cancel a monthly membership, you may do so at any time. However, please note that in order to not get billed for next month you must cancel 48 hours before your next billing cycle.  Your billing cycle automatically renews on the same day of the month as you originally signed up. Once cancelled, you will no longer be charged going forward. Payments for the next billing cycle will not be refunded, so please make sure to cancel with at least 48 hours notice.  You can cancel your membership in the members area by going to the top right corner and clicking on My Account or by emailing [email protected].  Upon cancellation of a membership month-to-month members will only continue to have access to all Content purchased through the end of the month in which you cancelled, this includes access to the Real Life Runners Academy Facebook Group and Final Surge coaching app.

 

Quarterly Memberships:

Memberships created will not automatically cancel. All memberships will auto-renew until cancelled. If you would like to cancel a quarterly membership, you may do so at any time. However, please note that in order to not get billed for next quarter you must cancel 48 hours before your next billing cycle.  Your billing cycle automatically renews every 3 months on the same day of the month as you originally signed up.  For example, if you signed up on January 14, you would be billed again on April 14, July 14, and October 14 until cancelled by you.  Once cancelled, you will no longer be charged going forward. Payments for the next billing cycle will not be refunded, so please make sure to cancel with at least 48 hours notice.  You can cancel your membership in the members area by going to the top right corner and clicking on My Account or by emailing [email protected]. Upon cancellation of a quarterly membership members will only continue to have access to all Content purchased through the end of the quarter in which you cancelled, this includes access to the Real Life Runners Academy Facebook Group and Final Surge coaching app.



Annual Memberships:

Memberships created will not automatically cancel. All memberships will auto-renew annually until cancelled. If you would like to cancel an annual membership, you may do so at any time. Please note, however, that you need to cancel at least 3 business days prior to your renewal date to prevent the next year’s membership from being automatically processed and billed. There is no trial period and we do not allow refunds or partial refunds for annual memberships; because of this, we recommend you try a month-to-month membership before purchasing an annual membership. You may upgrade to an annual membership at any time. Upon cancellation of a membership annual members will continue to receive Content purchased for the one-year period you originally paid for, and once the one-year term ends you will no longer have access to Content purchased, this includes access to the Real Life Runners Academy Facebook Group and Final Surge coaching app. 

 

1:1 Coaching Program

With our 1:1 Coaching Program, you are obligated to pay membership fees on a monthly basis as selected when you sign up for our coaching services. Membership fees will be billed automatically to the payment method used during your initial purchase and will renew automatically until the membership is terminated by you.  You can cancel your membership or modify your payment choice at any time inside your account information section in the members area. 

 

Refund Policy Specific To Non- Subscription Based Products (Custom Training Plans)

For custom training plan purchases, once the questionnaire has been completed and submitted to our coaches, and the training plan creation process has started, a 50% refund will be given provided the final training plan has not been delivered.  This is due to the fact that a significant portion of our coaches time is spent reviewing the questionnaire, and getting to know your personal, unique situation and fitness profile and preparing a training plan. If a training plan has been delivered, no refund will be given.  If a refund request is requested PRIOR to completing and submitting your initial fitness questionnaire, a 100% refund will be given.

Refund Policy Specific To 1:1 or Group Coaching Calls, Missed Calls, Reschedules, etc.

For 1:1 coaching calls,  once a call takes place, no refund will be given.  

No refunds will be given for missed calls. If a call needs to be rescheduled, a written notification (email) must be made at least 4 hours prior to the scheduled coaching call. If a notification is made in under 2 hours, it is considered a missed call, however special considerations may be made on a case by case basis for certain situations (family emergencies, etc).  

 

Payments, Fees, Renewals, Cancellation For 1:1 Coaching Program

Please allow 48 hours for your cancellation request to be processed by our membership system.

Payments and Fees For Other Non-Subscription Services (eg. Custom Training Plans, Coaching Calls, Lifetime Access Pass, etc)

With One-Time Training Plans or one-time group coaching programs,  you are purchasing a product or service with a single, one-time payment or multi-payment options. When you purchase a program, you authorize us to charge your designated payment method for the cost of the product or service at that time.

Prices for our Custom Training Plan product as published on our website may fluctuate time to time as a result of current market rates, competitive positioning, and a host of other factors that impact our pricing.  We do not adjust pricing to previous advertised rates, nor do we offer refunds in any price differences.  Price is valid on/to the date of purchase as posted and charged.

If you are choose a payment plan option, you agree that your card will be charged monthly for the number of months stated on the checkout page until the program is paid in full.  If you choose to cancel, you must do so before 30 days, or you will be required to pay the remainder of your balance.  If you stop payment or payment is declined, you will lose access to the program. Please contact customer support if you are having a hardship and need to modify your payment plan.  If you choose to initiate a charge dispute with your bank, you will lose all access to this program, and  you will be banned from enrolling in all future programs with Real Life Runners and may be subject to other legal ramifications.
