123: Forget What You Know So You Can Grow

Jan 16, 2020

Change is difficult because it removes the stability and comfort of our current situation.  It pushes us into a place of uncertainty which we naturally resist. It also requires us to look at ourselves at our current situation and habits from a whole new perspective.  We cannot learn anything radically new, until we forget what we already know.

Highlights of the Episode:

What happens when you want to change something. 2:57
The habits that our brain creates. 3:28
The new possibilities that stem from new learning. 8:53
Believing that you can and that it is possible. 25:07
Tying your happiness in to your race results and the possible negative effects it may give you. 32:00
The possibility of hindering your own success and how to deal with it. 38:51
